LIFT Activation Team

The Leadership Incident Fortification Training (LIFT) Activation Team serves as a specialized resource to support agencies and leadership following high-impact or critical incidents. Built on the nationally recognized LIFT program developed by the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS), this team provides a structured, leadership-focused approach to incident support, recovery, and organizational learning.

The LIFT Activation Team is available to assist agencies in managing the immediate and ongoing impacts of critical incidents, supporting leadership decision-making during complex events, promoting resilience and recovery for personnel and organizations, and identifying lessons learned that strengthen future performance.

This resource emphasizes a full-spectrum approach—from risk mitigation and preparedness to response and recovery—helping agencies navigate challenging events while minimizing harm to people and organizations and maximizing learning.
